A genuinely rare and exciting Area Manager opportunity has arisen to join a leading Global trade brand as an area manager. With 190 across the UK within a global branch network, now is great time to join this forward thinking and growing business.

As an Area Manager, you will lead and develop a team of Store Managers to deliver sales, service excellence, whilst achieving high standards of quality and compliance and consistently exceeding operational targets. You will be given full autonomy of your area, no micromanagement here!

The key responsibilities for the role will include:

• Build and develop a team of high performing Store Managers and support them in delivering a high performing team, through mentoring, coaching and performance management.

• Champion service - excellence – ensure it is positively communicated and that the customer is at the heart of every decision made.

• Maintain excellent standards in all areas of operational activity in stores & teams.

• Be aware of local competition, identifying opportunities on an on-going basis and feedback to Line Manager.

• Have a sound commercial mind, with the ability to taker ownership of the regions P&L

• Sales is always at the forefront, so the ability to demonstrate boldness in B2B development, is fundamental for the team.

We are looking for individuals with Area Management or multi site experience within a fast paced sales and results driven environment including experience of managing a team. Ideally you will come from a trade/merchant background, but all applications will be considered if the right skillsets and characteristics are displayed.
